A Collection of Photo Posts
I saw this twisted tree while I was in Delaware. I don’t know what kind it is, but I found it to be quite interesting to look at and photograph.
If anyone can identify it please leave a comment.
I agree with you! Beautiful tree
Thanks so much!
Quite unusual and very interesting, captivating really.
Thanks so much for the nice comment. I not sure I fully captured how different and interesting the tree really is. Thanks for visiting my blog.
I have no idea what tree this is but it is stunning for sure and what a beautiful shot!
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for all of your nice comments. I still can’t figure out what type of tree it is. I love a mystery Thanks for visiting.

It’s beautiful, John…rather looks like some of our mountain-living aspen after they’ve been through a few winters and avalanches. I would say that it is not an aspen, just twisted as they are when up on the steep slopes and have suffered the crushing weight of the snows. Very interesting.
Thanks for the comment. The tree is still a mystery, but I guess that’s ok Thanks for visiting!
You’re welcome, John…tried to help…sent Allen from New Hampshire Garden Solutions to your site to help…said he needed to see some leaves to really be able to tell what it was/is.
isn’t it a sort of Japanese tree? A Japanese maple, a willow or something like that?
Thanks for the feedback. I will visit the location again and take more photos to be sure. Thanks for visiting.
John, nice to meet you long distance, and thanks for visiting. I don’t know what kind of tree it is, either, but I sent your link to my brother who works with woods a lot and maybe he will know. Like seekraz said, leaves would help identify it. If you ever visit it again, photograph the leaves and also look for buds, cones, stuff like that. Look forward to browsing your site at length.
I do plan to visit again and will be sure to take pictures of the whole tree. Thanks for the feedback and for visiting my blog.
I like the curves of the branches.
Thanks so much for the nice comment.
